Description
PPS (also known as polyphenylene sulfide) was proposed by Greenvesse in 1897 and first industrialized by the American Phiifs Oil Company in 1937. It is a resin material with good thermal stability, chemical stability, corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity, and is widely used in coal-fired power plants and boiler flue gas dust removal industries. PPS needle-punched felt is made of imported 100% PPS fiber. PPS fiber has excellent acid and alkali resistance, antioxidant properties, and excellent folding resistance, making the composite felt normally resistant to temperatures of 170°C and 190°C in a short time. It is suitable for filtration of flue gas with high sulfur content such as thermal power, waste incineration, and coal-fired boilers.
